Springtime at Beausoleil

Several amazing and great things have occurred since our last blog post. First, we had an amazing week leading up to Mother’s Day brunch. The restaurant was busier than ever, and we truly appreciate all the support from everyone! We were able to share our new amazing items, like the rosemary and lemon martini with Smooth Ambler gin from the bar and our General Tso’s “cheeks,” a Beausoleil spin on the Chinese favorite.

Second, thanks to all the families that joined us for Mother’s Day brunch. Our regular Sunday brunch entertainer and friend, Kirk Holder, played at the front of the restaurant, which every table seemed to really enjoy. Chef Nathan showed off some amazing specials, and the Ultimate Bacon Bloody Marys were flowing.

Beausoleil has also recently participated in a number of events for the Legislature to showcase Louisiana cuisine. At the Louisiana Restaurant Association Legislative Appreciation night, Beausoleil debuted a new soup: Roasted Corn and Louisiana Oyster Bisque. The next day, we helped build a 144 ft. “Peacemaker” po’boy on the steps of the State Capitol, sponsored by the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board – one foot of po’boy for each legislator, awesome!
